Old Time Radio Show: The Haunting Hour at Creative 360

Old Time Radio Show: The Haunting Hour at Creative 360

–On Friday, October 27, and Saturday, October 28, Creative 360 and the Creative Radio Network present the Old Time Radio Show: The Haunting Hour. This family friendly, spooky show features three thrilling tales from the Golden Age of Radio: The Boa Goddess, Graveyard Mansion, and The Flying Dutchman.

“This is our twentieth Old Time Radio production at Creative 360,” said John McPeak, one of the group’s star performers. “Since March of 2017 we have enjoyed bringing these stories to life for those who love the nostalgia, but also for those who are new to the experience.”

The Creative Radio Network will transport you from the new Creative 360 stage at 5501 Jefferson Avenue to eerie places through the blood-chilling tales of Old Nancy, witch of Salem and her wise old black cat. The shows are performed so that you feel as if you are seeing the 1940’s performers behind the microphone and the episode format will bring you back to the times when families gathered around cabinet radios for mysteries, comedies, thrillers and more.

The Haunting Hour features Creative Radio Network players JoAnn Pobocik, Terri Shroeder, David Ritter, Todd Little, David King, and John McPeak.  The show is directed by Carol Rumba and the live sound effects created by Foley artist Cheryl Felch will make you feel like you are right in the middle of the action.  Each episode of the show is punctuated by real commercial jingles from the time period sung by the Ding, Dong & Dell Trio.

The Haunting Hour plays on Friday, October 27 and Saturday, October 28, from 7 – 8:30 pm at 5501 Jefferson Avenue. Tickets are $15 prepay, or $20 at the door. This event is BYOB and snacks. You can register online at becreative360.org or by calling the arts center at 989-837-1885.
