Current Openings:

Art Teachers for Express Yourself Artshop:  Part Time (1.5-6 hours per week).  We are seeking artists who are interested in sharing their knowledge with students in our Express Yourself Artshop program.  Artshop offers arts and wellness classes that are open to all students and are designed to be accessible to adult students with physical, emotional, and intellectual disabilities and mental health concerns.  We are interested in ALL areas of the arts and wellness.  Please contact Artshop Coordinator Allise Noble at for more information or to schedule a visit to check out our program!

Office/Event and Artshop Assistant:  Part Time (20-25 hours per week).  We are seeking a multi talented person to help with our Express Yourself Artshop program, our events schedule (possibly including our rental business) and with general office work.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting the ArtShop coordinator with classes, data entry and inventory, working with private rental clients and non-profit member clients, event set-up and monitoring, event advertising, front desk customer care and day to day set-up..  Excellent interpersonal skills are a must as is the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced and unpredictable (and FUN) environment.  Proficiency with the Microsoft Word and Excel required, previous experience in office work, teaching, and/or event management is helpful.  Hours are variable, however it is important to note that this position will require some evening and weekend hours.  Physical requirements:  ability to lift 30 pounds, ability to spend multiple hours on one’s feet teaching and moving light furniture.  Hourly rate based on experience.  Send resume to Executive Director Laura Vosejpka at or call 989-837-1885 for more information.  This position is available starting in January 2022.

Building Maintenance and Event Set-Up:  Part Time (20-25 hours per week).  We are seeking one or more handy-persons to help us with general cleaning, maintenance and event set-up. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to general cleaning, regular maintenance (changing lights, light repair work, cleaning windows), moving tables/chairs, etc. for rental event set-up and breakdown.  A flexible schedule (general building hours are 9 am until 5 pm M-F, but many rentals occur evenings and weekends and require set-up and break-down time then) and reliability are required, the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced and sometimes unpredictable environment is helpful.  Hours for cleaning and maintenance are relatively flexible between 9 am and 5 pm, events set up can be at off hours but those assignments are know well in advance.  Physical requirements include the ability to move large, unstable loads, like chair stacks, or up to 50 pounds.  Hourly rate is based on experience.  Send resume and/or list of previous experience to Executive Director Laura Vosejpka at or call 989-837-1885.  This position is available immediately.
