Creative 360 Community Garden

The Creative 360 Community Garden is on the grounds of Creative 360 at the corner of Bayliss St. and Arbury Place. It is managed by Gina Malczewski and friends from Midland ACS, with consultation from the Midland Master Gardeners. All practices are eco-friendly. It is a space where people can grow their food in a way that is healthy for them, the environment, and the community. Both water and compost are available onsite. Learn more in this video tour of Creative 360 Gardens.

Plots are reserved on a first-come/first-serve basis in four sizes available for the season:

Four 5×10 ft plots for $20 each
Four 6×12 ft plots for $25 each

True to the spirit of Creative 360, the gardens are a place for creativity to blossom. Gardeners are welcome and encouraged to decorate their spaces as they like, and to use various techniques to maximize space.

There are also shared garden beds, sponsored by local businesses and individuals, used for teaching and growing communal crops like herbs and perennials that are cared for and harvested collectively.

We will manage the gardens in line with Governor Whitmer’s mandates, but anticipate that we will be able to hold a virtual orientation and schedule gardening times if social distancing needs dictate. Call Creative 360 at 989 837-1885 or email Laura to reserve your spot today!

Volunteer ● Donate ● Sponsor

Don’t want a garden bed? There are other ways to contribute to and enjoy the gardens. Volunteers help us in a variety of ways while they enjoy the outdoors. Sponsors financially support community garden beds and events while also receiving recognition in the gardens themselves, on our website, press releases and in print materials. Donations help with funds needed for maintenance of the garden area. Fundraisers and potlucks make it easy to make a donation or volunteer. If you are interested in becoming a Creative 360 Gardens Committee Member, a sponsor, or if you have any questions, please call (989) 837-1887.

Community gardeners and individual gardeners wanting to expand their knowledge are invited to gather once a month for short presentations on various gardening topics followed by an open forum for discussion. These gatherings grew out of the collaborative efforts of the Midland County Master Gardener Association and Creative 360. You can register online or by calling 989-837-1885. They are all scheduled for 6:30-8:00 pm and free of charge.Text here
