Creative 360 hosts Dog VideoFest to Benefit Humane Society

– On Friday, October 13, Creative 360 will bring the world’s largest dog video festival to its Jefferson Avenue Street Stage with a showing of the new Dog VideoFest. The event is the latest program in the Living with Animals: Celebrating All Creatures Great & Small event series that features classes, lectures, workshops, films, and other special events centered on our special relationship with the earth’s creatures. The series is generously sponsored by Andy and Donna Rapp and all ticket sales from DogVideoFest will be donated to the Humane Society of Midland County.

“We are so grateful to the Rapps for sponsoring this series,” said Executive Director Laura Vosejpka.  “It is important to support community organizations that care for animals in need and we hope to create opportunities for the community to celebrate the ways that animals enrich every aspect of our lives.”

DogVideoFest, is a new offering from the group that brought us CatVideoFest which has been an annual international event since 2019, bringing the joy of animal videos to the masses while raising funds and awareness to help animals in need. Every showing of both CatVideoFest and DogVideoFest film raises money for animals in need through partnerships with local animal charities, animal welfare organizations, and shelters to best serve the animals in that area. The 70-minute shows have been created from countless hours of unique submissions and sourced animations, music videos, and classic internet powerhouses and is 100% family friendly.

For all those who are more cat people, don’t worry, cats will never let themselves be upstaged. A few feline friends will definitely sneak their way in to DogVideoFest!

DogVideoFest will be shown on Friday, October 13 from 7:00 -8:30pm at the 5501 Jefferson Avenue location. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for grades K-12. Snacks are provided and all ticket sales from the event go to the Humane Society of Midland County in support of their work.
