The Michigan MOMsemble is Making Memories like a Boss at Creative 360
– The Michigan MOMsemble holiday show, Making Memories like a Boss, is playing at Creative 360’s Bayliss Street Gallery on Friday December 2nd at 7pm. The MOMsemble, formed in 2016 by Midland resident and former touring actor Laura Brigham, is a group of talented mothers from the Great Lakes Bay Region who perform hilarious songs and stories that parody the everyday struggles of parenting.
“We love motherhood,” said MOMsemble co-writer Sarah Smith. “Our mission is to help parents laugh about the frustrations we all encounter so we won’t feel so alone. The MOMsemble creates a community feel, entertaining anyone who has ever experienced the holidays with children. It is a blast!”
The show combines traditional holiday numbers mixed with holiday parodies. This year the selection includes: Winter Wonderland: the art of continuing to have a delightful time through a plethora of complaints, The Twelve Days of Pregnant Christmas, What’s This?: A deconstruction of Kindergarten holiday parties, Silver Bells, Merry Christmas Baby and More! Prizes are given out at the performance.
