Author Elizabeth Meyette to Speak at Creative 360

October 17, 2022, Midland, MI. – On Thursday October 20th, writer Elizabeth Meyette will return to Midland to share her two latest books at Creative 360. The Amazon Best Selling author, also a former Midland Public Schools teacher, will read from The Go To Sleep Tree, a children’s book, and Invisible Pursuit, a novel of romantic suspense set in her new home, Grand Rapids.

The author of The Finger Lakes Mysteries series as well as The Brentwood Saga historical romance series, Betty retired early from teaching to pursue a second career as a fiction writer.  She published the first book in The Brentwood Saga: Love’s Destiny in 2012. Set in Williamsburg, Virginia at the beginning of the Revolutionary War, it is a tale of love and war, both in the country and between families.

Meyette love affair with books began as a child when her sister read Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Her lifelong fascination with all things ‘stories’ has led her to explore mystery, historical romance, poetry, and children’s books. The Go To Sleep Tree is her first published children’s book and she collaborated with Phoenix artist Meghan Melotik for the illustrations.

“Betty’s imaginative storytelling is such a wonderful example of creativity,” remarked Creative 360’s Laura Brigham. “She followed her dreams and is not only an inspiration would-be writers, she’s also just a really interesting person!. It will be so wonderful to host her at our Bayliss Gallery.”

The event is Thursday, October 21 from 7:00 – 8:30 pm and admission is $5. Book online at or by calling 989-837-1885. Books will be available for purchase at the event.
