Old Time Radio Show: The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes at Creative 360

On Friday and Saturday, July 8th and 9th, the popular Old Time Radio Show group is back at Creative 360 with The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. The show will be directed by Midland artist Carol Rumba, and will star John McPeak, David King, Todd Little, David Ritter, Victoria Ritter, Terri Schroeder, JoAnn Pobocik, and Cheryl Felch.

The production features live sound effects, known as foley, and original commercial jingles sung by the Ding, Dong and Dell Trio. Pianist James Hohmeyer will be featured in the show along with violinist Susan Mercy.

“Having Susan play violin really adds to the presentation,” said director Carol Rumba. “Sherlock Holmes was a violinist in all of the original stories. It really lends a feeling of authenticity to the show.”

Filled with nostalgia, the Creative 360 Old Time Radio Shows take the audience back in time to the family friendly entertainment of the 1930’s and 40’s. Past presentations have included Abbott & Costello, The Shadow and Gunsmoke.

“The Old Time Radio Show events are always a hit with our patrons,” said Creative 360 Director, Laura Vosejpka. “It is especially wonderful to see how these shows are enjoyed by all ages. The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes will be a unique and fun-filled night out for everyone.”

Performances are Friday, July 8 and Saturday, July 9 from 7:00 – 8:30. Admission to the event is $12 prepay, or $17 at the door / BYOB.
