Creative 360 Hosts Family Arts Pop-Up Event
May 16, 2022, Midland, MI – Creative 360 is hosting Imagine…Dragons!, a family art
pop –up event downtown at 144 Ashman St this Saturday and Sunday from 12 to 3. There will be a
host of fun, arty and silly things for families to do together including a black light art
room for glow art, a dress up selfie room, and a ‘create your own multi-media dragon’
opportunity which young artists in grades PreK through 12 can choose to enter into a
competition for prizes!
“Creative 360 is excited to host this pop-up event for kids,” said artist, Creative 360
board member and mother of two, Katie Breussow. “We had kids creating so many cool
things in the black light art room at our exhibit pop-up last Saturday that we can’t wait to
see what they do with dragons!”
Creative 360’s FREE dragon themed event is happening in conjunction with Chalk the
Walk – a chalk art event and contest being held jointly between Creative 360 and
Downtown Midland. Chalk the Walk opens at 11 am with a Free-For-All Chalk and the
artist’s competition beginning at 12 noon. Judging is at 3 pm and there is also an
interactive 3D chalk demonstration happening all day long on the Main Street corners.
