Creative 360 recognizes teachers have faced a lot of challenging situations these last few years, but have met them head on. Creative 360 and The Michigan MOMsemble are offering a relaxing Thank You Teachers Night as a huge thank you for all their hard work.
“The event was inspired by my son’s third grade teacher at Chestnut Hill Elementary” said Creative 360 staff member Laura Brigham. “I listened to her classroom while my son had to work virtually one day, and it struck me what a knight in shining armor she was, balancing live and virtual while simultaneously battling short attention spans. I remember thinking ‘this lady deserves to put her feet up!’”
On March 26th at 6pm teachers are invited to come to Creative 360 in their comfiest clothes, like pajamas or sweats, and enjoy chocolate, wine, a hot cocoa bar, games, a warm fire, music, and chill time. There will also be an optional art project. No students allowed!
This event is being sponsored by The Michigan MOMsemble, a large group of performing mothers in the Great Lakes Bay Area. “We were totally in for the Teacher Night,” said a MOMsemble representative. “We have enormous respect for educators and since we cannot buy them each the mansion made of diamonds they deserve, we approached Creative 360 with this thank you plan.”
Thank You Teachers Night happens during Spring break on Saturday March 26th 6pm-8pm. This is a FREE event for teachers, though we do ask that people register so we know how many to plan for. Let us know you are coming online at becreative360.org or by calling the arts center at 989-837-1885.
