Creative 360 Launches 360 Hours of Awesome Fall Fundraiser 10/23

October 19, 2021, Midland, MI. – 360 hours is exactly 15 days and Creative 360 is getting ready to begin 15 days of creativity and fun in their 360 Hours of Awesome Fall Fundraiser starting on October 23rd.

“One thing we definitely are here at Creative 360 is creative!” said Executive Director, Laura Vosejpka with a wink.  “Our team was trying to decide what one event would be the best for our fall fundraiser…a lunch, a concert, a class, a performance?  Then we looked at each other and said ‘All of the above!’ All of those things make us special and our Fall Fundraiser is a great time to celebrate everything we do to bring creative options to our community.”

The 15 days of events begins on Saturday, October 23rd with not only a concert, but a painting option.  Creative 360 is partnering again with Mi Element to host a fall painting class.  Guests can create an acrylic canvas painting, Autumn Moon, guided by Vosejpka, and enjoy a beverage provided by Mi Element.  The event runs from 2-4 pm at Mi Element for a cost of $35.

Later on Saturday evening, the Celtic band Roane returns to the Creative 360 indoor stage for a live concert from 7 – 9 pm. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door.

“Creative 360’s mission is to create opportunities for everyone to experience arts, wellness, and the creative process.  We do this through classes, events, performances and specialty programs.  Our Fall Fundraiser is very important as it allows us to continue to offer these opportunities to our community at a very low cost so that everyone can participate,” remarked Vosejpka.  “We use our fundraising dollars to supplement performance costs, to offer scholarships to students who need support, to offer free arts and wellness events to our community, and to keep our facility up and running.”

“The 2021 fundraising drive is particularly important to Creative 360 as we are faced with some major upgrades to our Alden B. Dow designed building,” said Creative 360 Board of Directors President Ashley Ghose.  “We have written a large Capital Improvement grant to the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs so that we can replace our aging and inefficient boiler based heating and cooling system.  This grant requires a one to one match and our fundraising dollars will help to meet this match.”

The full schedule of events for 360 Hours of Awesome is available on the Creative 360 website, becreative360.org.  Included among the many events are donation based yoga with Alignments 8’s Keri Kenney, Episode 2 of The Breaking Bread Village, The Inner Sanctum Old Time Radio Show, and an Art Book and Supply Sale.

“We know that not everyone is comfortable coming to a large, crowded event right now,” said Vosejpka. “We wanted to give our guests many different kinds of opportunities to stop by, experience what we have to offer, and support us in an environment that allows each guest to feel safe and comfortable.”
