Entry Information for the “Art Speaks” Competition – June 5-6, 2021

Creative 360 is seeking original, imaginative plays and poetry to be read and/or performed as part of our Art Speaks Festival. Presentations, performances, and award announcements will take place on Saturday June 5 and Sunday June 6, 2021 outdoors at the Creative 360 campus at 1517 Bayliss St in Midland, Michigan.

RULES:

Entries must be the work of a Michigan resident

All entries must be original work by the entrant in one of the following formats:

10 Minute Play: 15 pages or less
One Act Play: Approximately 20-40 pages
Full Length Play: Approximately 60-120 pages
Poetry: 1200 words or fewer.

Works must not have been performed professionally and/or for the public. “Professional”, for these purposes, refers to performances where the performers are paid.

Submission are due on or before Monday, May 3, 2021 at 12 noon. Judging will be blind and work must be submitted with a separate cover page that includes the name of the author, address, email and phone number along with the title of the work.

NOTE : the event date for REGISTRATION is MAY 3 in the registration calendar. The actual event is on JUNE 5-6, 2021!
