Creative 360 is seeking original, imaginative art to be read and displayed as part of the 11th annual Artfest 55 festival celebrating the creativity of Michigan residents who are age 55 and over. The festival is a juried art exhibit and creative writing competition with prizes. The exhibition opening and award announcements are planned for Friday, July 10 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. It will be a socially distanced indoor/outdoor event. The awards ceremony will also be recorded and made available via the Creative 360 website and Facebook. The performance art category has been eliminated this year due to social distancing concerns. Find entry details and printable forms on the Artfest 55 page on our website.

“In light of continuing Covid-19 concerns, keeping our artists and guests safe and healthy is our highest priority,” explained Program Director and Curator Colleen Reed. “Even though we want to continue this important annual tradition, we’re making adjustments to ensure a program that closely follows CDC and State of Michigan guidelines.”
Artfest 55 is an event that tends to draw a high number of entries and has a packed gallery on opening night. It will be different this year, but we still think it will be a fun event! Changes being made to ensure our artists and guests are safe include curbside delivery of entries, and an indoor/outdoor opening event. The number of people in our gallery at one time will be limited and masks are required.
