2020 YES WE CAN! PROGRAM CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

Creative 360 will once again showcase the wisdom and experiences of people who are 80 and over in the seventh annual Yes We Can! Program in 2020. Since the program was launched in 2014, the nonprofit has honored more than 350 Great Lakes Bay artists, scholars, scientists and community leaders. The community has benefited from their inspirational stories and examples as these exemplary seniors encourage and motivate everyone to remain active, contributing community members at every age.

“As we plan this year’s program, we realize there are likely many of these heroes in the community who have escaped our attention,” said Executive Director Carol Rumba. “We want to be certain that each receives this deserving honor.”

There is only one qualification to be an honoree in the Yes We Can! Program. You must be 80 years of age or “better” during the program months of January-May 2020. Honorees may be involved in one or more of the following events: a luncheon in their honor, an art exhibition, a Tuesday Tribute or a Yes We Can! evening. To nominate someone as a Yes We Can! honoree, contact Creative 360 at 989-837-1885 or email: creed@becreative360.org. Provide their age as of May 2020, brief information about their life story, and if they know they have been nominated. Nominations must be received no later than October 10 to be considered for the 2020 program.
