On Friday, September 28, 7-8:30 p.m., Express Yourself Artshop, Do-Art of Bay City, and VSA Michigan will pool their talents in an exhibition and showcase that will feature art, music, acting, dance performances, and even Artshop’s culinary talents. Everyone is welcome. There is no charge. The artists receive 70% of any art sold. The art will be on exhibit through 10/21.
Creative 360’s Artshop program provides a place for those with physical, intellectual, and psychological disabilities opportunities for an inclusive arts education. It is a safe and caring community that encourages and promotes each person’s self-expression.
Do-Art community arts program brings artists with and without disabilities together to produce and sell their work. It offers artists-in-training a chance to gain confidence in their skills and acquire new ones as they build friendships.
VSA Michigan works to create an inclusive society where people with disabilities participate in, learn through, excel in, and enjoy the arts. Guests will enjoy juried art from their Emerging Artists Touring Exhibit.
