"For me, Facing Forward was ultimately a reminder of the importance of creativity and community in my own life, and the world at large. Every woman should have a circle of women who love her unconditionally simply because she is a fellow woman . . . a circle where she belongs and where her beauty and power and creativity are encouraged. I believe that is what we were able to give the girls.”

What is Facing Forward?
Facing Forward Is…
~ A shared exploration between young and adult women of creative movement,
journaling, maskmaking, and art
~ A six-week commitment to showing up, trying new things, and being open to new experience
~ A memorable exchange of trust, understanding, surprises, and fun
Facing Forward Is Not…
~ A therapy or counseling group
~ A place where anyone can fail
~ The same as anything you’ve done before
